What is self storage and how does it work?

Renting a storage unit is a great solution to clear up some much-needed space at home or to hold much needed business items. All of our storage facilities offer clean, secure storage solutions at affordable prices.

Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials, and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.

What is the best way to pack a unit?

Larger and more infrequently used items should go in the back of the unit. Remember to keep a walkway in the center of your unit to more easily access items. Always keep items labeled and a list of items stored, even a photo on the outside of each box will allow you to "see" what's inside.

  • Head west on E Pearl St toward S Lamar St
  • Turn left onto S Lamar St
  • Use the middle lane to turn left at the 1st cross street onto E Pascagoula St
  • Turn right onto S West St
  • Turn left onto Court St
  • Turn left onto State St
  • Turn right
  • StorageMax Downtown will be on the left

From Richland, MS:

  • Take US 49 S and US-51 N/State St to your destination in Jackson
  • Head south on US 49 S toward Old Hwy 49 S
  • Make a U-turn at McBride St
  • Use the right three lanes to take the I-20 W/I-55/US-49 N ramp to Jackson
  • Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Interstate 55 S/Interstate 20 W/U.S. 49 N/South Jackson, and merge onto I-20 W/US 49 N
  • Take exit 45B to merge onto US-51 N/State St
  • Turn right
  • StorageMax Downtown will be on the left

From Pearl, MS:

  • Head west on I-20 W
  • Take exit 45B to merge onto US-51 N/State St
  • Turn right

From Flowood, MS:

  • Head southeast on Airport Rd toward Lakeland Dr
  • Turn right onto MS-468 E/Flowood Dr
  • Turn right onto US-80 W
